In the bid, the State Treasury planned to sell VND6.5 trillion worth of 5-year government bonds. 

Bidders registered for VND20.201 trillion bonds, seeking rates of 6.1-7.2% p.a. In the end, the State Treasury sold out VND6.5 trillion bonds at 6.29%, down 0.05% from that of the previous bid (February 24, 2016).

Year to date, the State Treasury has sold a combined VND36,868.9 billion worth of government bonds.
