In the bid, the State Treasury planned to sell VND11.3 trillion worth of government bonds, distributed at VND2 trillion, VND8 trillion and VND1.3 trillion for 3-year, 5-year and 15-year terms respectively. 

Bidders registered for VND5.701 trillion 3-year bonds, seeking rates of 5.35-7% p.a. In the end, the State Treasury sold out VND2 trillion bonds at 5.5%, down 0.25% from that of the previous bid (February 3, 2016).

Bidders registered for VND24.701 trillion 5-year bonds, seeking rates of 6.2-7.2% p.a. In the end, the State Treasury sold out VND8 trillion bonds at 6.34%, down 0.16% from that of the previous bid (February 17, 2016).

Bidders registered for VND2.795 trillion 15-year bonds, seeking rates of 7.49-8.5% p.a. In the end, the State Treasury sold out VND1.3 trillion bonds at 7.65%, equal to that of the previous bid (February 3, 2016).

Year to date, the State Treasury has sold a combined VND30,368.9 billion worth of government bonds.
