StoxResearch, a division of StoxPlus, is an emerging business. We are hunting for experienced consultants to join our Hanoi and / or Ho Chi Minh office to meet our growing research orders from foreign clients who are penetrating into Vietnam.

Job Description

• Manage a team of analysts and be an owner for a group of sectors/markets for which you are qualified. Sectors under priority are:
  • Financial services (banking, consumer finance, insurance)
  • Retail (including food processing, food ingredients, F&B)
  • Industrials (including cement, building materials, packaging)
  • Agribusiness (including fertilizer, pesticides, animal feed)
  • Healthcare / Pharmaceuticals
  • Other sectors as requested
• Perform down-to-ground market research and market entry consulting services. For retail sectors, experience with customer research including focus group and quantitative survey is desirable.
• Write and review reports to be delivered to clients
  • For “ready-to-eat” market reports: update and issue semi-annually
  • For customized research and consulting reports: as per timetable agreed with client
• Interact with clients and be actively involved in the scoping and planning process
• Make presentation to clients and follow-ups
• Team building and coaching for analysts

Skills that are a must:

• In-depth knowledge of market landscape of the sector assigned;
• Possess relevant experience with proven track record in a leadership role: Between 3-7 years of direct experience in advisory, management consulting and/or corporate strategy, B2B market research, sellside / buyside research;
• Experience on the client side is welcomed as well;
• Ability to interact with management and conduct in-depth stakeholders’ analysis;
• Able to work in a fast pace team structure and excel with high output performance;
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English.

Secondary requirements:

• Basic Japanese writing/speaking is a plus;
• ACCA/CFA, MBA or other qualifications an advantage.
