Paul Coughlin

Special Advisor, Rating Committee Chairman of FiinRatings

Mr. Paul Coughlin is currently a special advisor and member of the Credit Rating Committee at FiinRatings. Prior to joining FiinRatings, he was the Executive Managing Director and Global Head, Analytics and Operations at S&P Global's New York headquarters from 2005 until his retirement in 2014. He worked at S&P Global Ratings for more than 26 years (1988-2014) and joined Australian Ratings in 1988 before the company was acquired by S&P in 1990. After that, he was in charge of S&P Mainland China, which was headquartered in Hong Kong, and became a founding member of Taiwan Ratings.

Khong Van Minh, MBA

Member of Credit Rating Committee

Prior to the current role as a Member of the Credit Rating Committee at FiinRatings, Mr. Minh was the Head of the Supervisory Board at Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park JSC in Ho Chi Minh City for 10 years. He also worked at Jaccar Holdings Fund Management Company and Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO). Currently, he works as a professional advisor and is directly involved in FiinRatings' credit rating process. In Vietnam's banking and finance industry, Mr. Minh has 24 years of expertise.

Nguyen Viet Thinh, FCCA, CIA, VACPA, MBA

Member of Credit Rating Committee

Mr. Thinh is currently a member of the Credit Rating Committee at FiinRatings. He has 23 years of expertise in assurance, corporate governance, risk management, and sustainability development. Mr. Thinh is the current Chairman of the ACCA Member Advisory Committee, a member of the VIOD Academic Advisory Council, and a co-founder of CGS Vietnam. He worked at PwC Vietnam for 16 years, where he was the director in charge of risk management, corporate governance, and sustainability in Hanoi office.

Le Hong Khang

Member of Credit Rating Committee

Anh Khang is an expert in the fields of investment finance and corporate finance. He has experience in credit rating for various industries, including real estate, securities, renewable energy, and more. Before joining FiinRatings, he worked at The Open House Joint Stock Company, the owner of Toong Coworking Space, Investment Banking Division of TPBank, and KPMG Vietnam.

Nguyen Tung Anh, MSc

Member of Credit Rating Committee

Mr. Tung Anh has more than 10 years of experience in consulting and management, especially economic policy. At FiinRatings, Mr. Tung Anh participates in many research, analysis, and evaluation projects on the corporate bond market, macroeconomics and sustainable finance. Previously, he worked at the State Securities Commission of Vietnam and the Australian Embassy in Vietnam with many contributions to policies on the economy, stock market, and commerce. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the National Economics University and a Master's degree in Financial Management from the University of Melbourne (Australia).

Nguyen Anh Quan, MSc

Member of Credit Rating Committee

With experience as the leader of an analytical team performing credit ratings of financial institutions (including securities companies, banks, etc.), Mr. Quan was appointed as a member of the Credit Rating Committee at FiinRatings. Previously, Mr. Quan had experience working at Ernst & Young (EY) New York and EY Vietnam in the field of financial consulting. In addition, Mr. Quan was in charge of the resource planning department at One Mount Distribution, a subsidiary of One Mount Group. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in finance, a minor in economics, and a master's degree in finance from Goldey Beacom University (USA).

Nguyen Nhat Hoang, CFA

Member of Credit Rating Committee

Mr. Hoang is a financial analyst and investment professional. He has experience in the credit rating of financial institutions and non-financial companies in various industries, including real estate, aquaculture, energy, minerals, etc. Before joining FiinRatings, Mr. Hoang was a senior analyst at FPT Securities, responsible for monitoring, analyzing and giving investment advice with regard to companies in the steel and cement industries and other industrial sectors. Mr. Hoang worked as an auditor at KPMG Vietnam. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from RMIT University Vietnam and became a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Pham Thu Anh

Senior Credit Analyst, Corporate Sector

With 6 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and credit analysis, in addition to participating in the credit rating activities at FiinRatings, Ms. Thu Anh was appointed as a sustainable finance specialist, participating in the Green Bond Certification activities according to the international standards of the Climate Bond Initiative (CBI). Ms. Thu Anh graduated with a Bachelor of Finance degree from the National Economics University and obtained a certificate in Sustainable Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2022. Currently, she has completed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.

Nguyen Vu Cuong, MSc

Before joining FiinRatings, Mr. Cuong was a Senior Analyst at FPT Securities Joint Stock Company, responsible for monitoring, analyzing and making investment advices with regard to companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Cuong graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Elizabethtown University (USA) and a Master's degree in Investment from the University of Birmingham (UK).

Nguyen Pham Thuc Anh, MSc

Senior Credit Analyst, Corporate Sector

Ms. Thuc Anh held the position of Market & Counterparty Risk Analyst at VPBank and Tax Consultant at EY Vietnam before joining FiinRatings. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the National Economics University and a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from The University of the West of England (UK).

Tran Thi Bang Tam, MSc

Senior Credit Analyst, Financial Institution Rating

Before joining FiinRatings, Ms. Tam had experience as a Business Credit Analyst in the Business Information Department at FiinGroup and as a Credit Appraisal Officer at Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB). Ms. Tam graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Hanoi University and a Master’s degree in International Finance and Accounting from Deakin University (Australia).

Tran Thi Anh Linh, CFA

Senior Credit Analyst, Financial Institution Rating

Ms. Linh has experiences in the position of Senior Credit Policy & Portfolio Analyst for Retail Banking Techcombank Vietnam (TCB) and Credit Risk Model Validation Officer at Groupe BPCE, the second largest financial institution in France. Ms. Linh graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance in the, Master's degree in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Paris-Dauphine, France, and has completed the CFA program.

Nguyen Tuyet Lan

Senior Credit Analyst, Financial Institution Rating

Before joining FiinRatings, Ms. Lan worked as Senior Auditor at KPMG Vietnam and Credit Analyst at Mizuho Bank Vietnam. She graduated from City University of Seattle (USA) with a major in Financial Management.

Nguyen Dieu Lan

Senior Credit Rating Analyst

Currently, Ms. Lan is a senior manager at the Business Information (BI) Department of Vietnam FiinGroup. With 7 years of experience in the business information analysis industry, Ms. Lan was appointed as a senior analyst at FiinRatings, participating in the rating activities of financial institutions, banks, and non-bank financial companies. Ms. Lan graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from Hanoi University. She completed Level I of the CFA Financial Analysis Certificate in 2016.
